“Are we hungry?”, asked Škof. “Aren’t we always?” was my answer. He just shrugged his shoulders. He didn’t want to argue with me, so I ordered a small snack. While we were eating, we didn’t talk much because it was delicious: ham, salami, and pate with homemade bread and a glass of wine.

Snack and wine; everything is home-made

“Did you take a picture of dessert?” I asked. “Uh, no. I guess I forgot”, he apologized as he was finishing a homemade cottage cheese dessert named “gibanica”. “It was so good. It was the same as my Mom used to make. Sorry!” This is all that was left for our picture.

Then Bojan, the owner of tourist farm Firbas, showed us the farm. One of the first animals we saw was a German Shepard “Medo”. He was so used to people that he didn’t even bark … to be honest, he couldn’t care less. This is what we saw:

German Shepard “Medo” (Bear)

Horses Miša (Misha), Milka, Mija

Dining room: indoor and outdoor

Glamping – glamour camping

“Outdoor” living room

Shower for brave ones (for brave ones : there is only cold water, but it can be refreshing after a long, hot day)

Stones from Mura River sort by size. You can walk bare foot and see, what is the best foot massage for you.

THINGS TO DO at the farm:

Bojan is picking eggs

Feeding animals

Riding a bike: there is nine electrical bikes waiting for you

… and more!
