“Are we hungry?”, asked Škof. “Aren’t we always?” was my answer. He just shrugged his shoulders. He didn’t want to argue with me, so I ordered a small snack. While we were eating, we didn’t talk much because it was delicious: ham, salami, and pate with homemade bread and a glass of wine.

“Did you take a picture of dessert?” I asked. “Uh, no. I guess I forgot”, he apologized as he was finishing a homemade cottage cheese dessert named “gibanica”. “It was so good. It was the same as my Mom used to make. Sorry!” This is all that was left for our picture.

Then Bojan, the owner of tourist farm Firbas, showed us the farm. One of the first animals we saw was a German Shepard “Medo”. He was so used to people that he didn’t even bark … to be honest, he couldn’t care less. This is what we saw:
