Tell us a little about yourself.

I am a former basketball player that at one point in life, some 13 years ago decided for a major turn in his non-pro career and started – singing :). I joined Slovenian vocal group Perpetuum Jazzile in 2006, posted a youtube video that became viral and eventually became the group’s president.

Who or what inspires you?

Positive smart people around me. Constant mental and physical improvement. My 9yr old son Tine.

What are you passionate about?

Singing. Crossfit and functional training. Basketball. Guitar. Photography. Social media. Our new pet – chameleon Kamila.

What accomplishment are you most proud of?

My role and impact on Perpetuum Jazzile’s development in the last 10 yrs.

Share a fun fact about you!

Everyone thinks I’m bald. But I’m not really. There’s just a lot of space between my hairs.

Describe your hometown!

Ok, for many this might sound really cocky, but Ljubljana is one of the nicest cities in the world. Nice people. Great food. Nice climate. English is spoken by everyone. Cosy and comfortable. Not overcrowded with tourists (yet!), it offers a perfect starting point to visit the Alps or the Mediterranean Sea within an hour drive.

What is your favorite place in Slovenia (next to your hometown)? Why?

Bohinj area. Because it’s simply breathtakingly beautiful.

What is a place you would take a friend who’s never been to Slovenia before? Why there?

Lake Bohinj. Because on the way there you pass lake Bled and you get 2in1. J

Postojna cave. Because it’s a must.

Piran. Because everyone loves the coast.

What is your favorite race, event or camp in Slovenia (to participate in or to watch)?

Oviratlon (Pokljuka), even though I haven’t visited yet. But I plan to do so.

What is your favorite typical Slovenian food?

Carniola sausage (Kranjska klobasa). Ričet. A good tarragon-roll (tarragon potica).

What do you think Slovenia is famous for?

Perpetuum Jazzile and US first lady. 🙂

Your favorite Slovenian movie and/or song?

Poletje v školjki.

How would you describe Slovenia in three words?

Green. Clean. Cute.

How can people get in touch with you?
